According to a survey carried out one month before the Colombian elections of May 2022, in case of a second round between Gustavo Petro and Federido 'Fico' Gutiérrez, 51.7 percent of those surveyed would vote for the leader of the left-wing coalition Pacto Histórico. Petro was the preferred candidate across people of all political affinities, according to another survey which took place in 2022.
