Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates were the main importers of gold from Ghana as of 2020. Gold exports to the countries represented 50.4 percent and 27.1 percent of the total exports, respectively. India, Turkey, Australia, and Hong Kong were other trade partners of Ghana in terms of gold exports.
