Implementation barriers for national health and climate change plans worldwide 2021
According to a survey conducted among national ministries of health in 2021, around 70 percent of country respondents identified insufficient finance or budget as the main barrier for implementing national health and climate change plans. Furthermore, over half of the interviewed countries mentioned inadequate human resource capacity and COVID-19-related constraints as implementation barriers. Out of 95 countries that took part on the same study, around 39 countries had completed national health and climate change plans or strategies worldwide from 2010 to 2021
