Spaniards' engagement in political activism 2019, by age group
Overall, young people were the group which engaged the most in political activities in Spain in 2019. Sending political messages via Internet, taking part in demonstrations, and signing petitions were the most popular forms of activism performed by young Spaniards that year, as well as by adults aged between 30 and 64 years old. There were two activities in which this last group was more engaged than the youth: getting in contact with politicians (18.1 against 11.6 percent) and boycotting products (15.6 against 13.4 percent).
