Share of sources used by young people to get informed about politics Spain 2012-2019
In 2019, young people's access to political information decreased compared to previous years, when youth seemed more interested in being informed about politics. Social media and TV were the main sources of information used by young Spaniards. Nevertheless, television is the channel of political information whose usage decreased the most, as about 70 percent of young adults reported in 2012. Compared to that year, youth interest in politics experienced a slight decrease in 2019.
