A survey conducted in Hong Kong in 2021 found that 60 percent of the 210 interviewed SMBs involved in online sales were already engaged in cross-border trade, while 22 percent planned to do so. Meanwhile, cross-border trade accounted for 32 percent of total sales among already engaged respondents.
