More than four out of every ten young adults in Spain were uncertain about the duration of their temporary contracts as of the first half of 2023, knowing just that they would last at least more than one month. In the case of workers within the age range of 16 to 24 years, merely 10 percent of the contracts had a duration of one year or more, a share that grew to 17.4 percent in the case of people whose age was between 25 and 29 years.
