In 2022, global consumer preferences concerning the purchase of apparel and footwear were somewhat evenly split. About three in ten consumers around the world said they were more likely to buy clothing and shoes online, while only a slightly higher number of respondents stated they more commonly bought such goods in-store. Winning only by a couple of percentage points, the modest majority said they use a healthy mix of both channels.
