Much like the video industry in India, audio consumption particularly music streaming was expected to be boosted over the next 12 months by urban consumers between the ages of 25 and 34, as reported by nearly 60 percent of respondents in a 2022 survey. Interestingly, podcast and radio consumption in the country was also predicted to increase during this period.
