According to a survey conducted in Hong Kong in 2021, 45 percent of surveyed small- and medium-sized businesses reflected that their customers have shown more positive attitudes towards digital payments after COVID-19. Among them, 31 percent mentioned a greater customer reliance on online payments and 26 percent stated that online payments for large monetary value were more accepted by customers.
