In 2020/2021, almost half of the trainees attending vocational education (formation professionnelle) in Morocco were completing the expert technician level (cycle de technicien spécialisé). The share increased significantly compared to 2000/2001, when only eight percent of the apprentices were attending that training level. In 2021, the number of people participating in professional training in Morocco amounted to 328,000.
