Retail revenue change in Russia 2021-2022
In April 2022, Russian cinemas witnessed the major slowdown, with their revenues falling by 43 percent compared to the same period last year and by eight percent compared to March 2022. Furthermore, sellers of electronics and household appliances recorded a revenue drop of 11 percent compared to last year and of 31 percent compared to March 2022. Overall, figures greatly fluctuated over the observed period, coinciding with coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
