In early 2022, the ACPM commissioned a study in order to examine the role of paper in the digital everyday life of French readers. In this context, the respondents were asked what the biggest advantages of digital reading are according to them. 37 percent of the respondents stated that no need to stock their books and newspapers is among the main advantages of digital reading, followed by faster access (35 percent) and easier transportation (31 percent).
