In 2022, the total value of completed foreign direct investment (FDI) transactions from China in the 27 EU countries and the United Kingdom amounted to approximately 7.9 billion euros. That year, the size of completed greenfield investments reached 4.5 billion euros, up from only 1.1 billion euros in 2019.
