According to the source, about half of human trafficking victims that went to Spain (not necessarily as their final destination) between 2002 and 2018 did so by air. On the contrary, the share of victims that entered the country by either train or boat summed up to only two percent. As for outbound journeys (victims going out of Spain), both air and bus were the main modes of transport used, with 29 percent of each.
