According to monthly surveys conducted in 2022 and 2023, inflation has become one of the most prominent global concerns. In South Africa, 24 percent of respondents worried about inflation in their country as of September 2023. The share grew significantly since January 2022, when 11 percent of the respondents reported inflation as a concern.
