In 2020, around 1.57 million youth aged 15 to 24 years in Morocco were not in education, employment, or training (NEET). The number remained quite stable compared to the previous year, while it decreased by nine percent from 2015. In proportion, roughly 27 percent of young adults in the country were NEET in 2020.
