In 2020, around 26.6 percent of the youth aged 15 to 24 years in Morocco were not in education, employment, or training (NEET). The share remained quite stable compared to the previous year, while it decreased by 0.9 percentual points from 2015. In absolute figures, roughly 1.6 million young adults were NEET in the country in 2020.
