A survey conducted from 2018 to 2021 about the behavioral change in circular shopping in New Zealand revealed that in 2021, a huge number of respondents, amounting to 78 percent, adopted the behavior of disposing the clothing and household items through online community groups, such as Facebook and Neighbourly, rather than throwing the items out. On the other hand, the behavior of hiring or borrowing things to avoid buying new items was used by over a third of respondent, with a share of 34 percent.
