Physician decisions during remote consultations in Mexico 2021

According to a survey conducted among doctors in Mexico in 2021, roughly 90 percent of respondents decided to adjust treatments during remote consultations. Meanwhile, over half of the doctors interviewed made other medication-related decisions remotely, including medication changes (57 percent) and prescriptions of new drugs (54 percent). The same study stated that only over four in every ten doctors in Mexico who used the internet for professional purposes carried out online patient consultations.
