According to a survey among 1,185 consumers in China in 2022, more than 55 percent of respondents said they had many items at home that they did not use. Also, about 58 percent of respondents said they have difficulties dealing with the unused articles.

The survey is conducted among respondents:
63.8 percent women and 36.2 percent of men.
5.5 percent born in 1970s, 27 percent born in 1980s, 41.9 percent born in 1990s, and 25 percent born after 2000.
