Share of agricultural land use in Algeria 2020, by type
As of 2020, almost 80 percent of the agricultural land area in Algeria was under permanent meadows and pastures. Arable land accounted for around 18 percent of the agricultural land area, while permanent crops occupied approximately 2.5 percent of the agricultural land.
