Ghana is a leading exporter of cocoa beans worldwide. The farm product is exported in different forms such as butter, liquor, and powder. In the 2018/2019 crop year, cocoa liquor exported from the country amounted to nearly 125,000 metric tons, while natural cocoa butter exports totaled roughly 61,600 metric tons. Moreover, cocoa powder exported reached over 36,000 metric tons in the said year.
