The source estimated that subscriptions to satellite and analog cable TV in Latin America declined between 2021 and 2022, standing at 23.25 million and 40 thousand, respectively. Meanwhile, the number of subscribers to digital cable TV and especially IPTV in the region grew to 30.11 million and 8.11 million, respectively. On average, the overall number of pay TV subscriptions in Latin America was projected to decrease by 1.6 percent between 2021 and 2022.
