Some estimated 494,100 metric tons of cocoa beans were exported from Ghana in 2022. In the preceding year, exports of this farm product reached approximately 593,000 metric tons. Moreover, considering the period under study, cocoa bean exports peaked in 2018, with more than 843,000 metric tons. Ghana is a leading producer and exporter of cocoa worldwide.
