Hedge funds with equity strategy as top-level strategy generated the highest return during the period from fourth quarter 2020 to third quarter 2021. This strategy, however, was also the one with the highest negative net returns during the period. Equity strategy hedge funds had a return of 14.77 percent in the fourth quarter of 2020, while the net return was negative at 1.48 percent in third quarter 2021.
