According to a survey carried out in Mexico in 2021, more than half of respondents take time to relax as a preventive measure to maintaining good mental health. Exercising follows, with around 44 percent of interviewees considering it a personal preventive method. Other actions taken to keep adequate mental health by respondents were talking to family or friends and praying, as mentioned by around 37 and 23 percent of the surveyed, respectively. Nearly half of respondents considered their mental health had been negatively affected by money problems.
