Russia exported the largest volume of crude oil to China, at 1.4 million barrels per day in 2021. The Netherlands was the second-leading destination by export volume, at approximately 640 thousand barrels daily, followed by Germany. These three countries also led the ranking of Russian oil export destinations by trade value.
