Companies considering closing overseas facilities South Korea 2020-2022

According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2022, nearly 28 percent of large South Korean companies said they were thinking about moving their overseas operations to South Korea. This was an increase of more than nine times compared to two years ago. According to the source, the main reason for thinking about reshoring was the disrupted global supply chain following the COVID-19 pandemic.
