According to a survey conducted among shoppers in Southeast Asia in 2021, 66 percent of the respondents in the Philippines preferred cash on delivery as a payment method for social commerce, compared to eight percent of the respondents who chose digital wallets. In comparison, shoppers in Malaysia and Singapore preferred digital wallets over cash on delivery as a payment method for social commerce.
