According to a survey conducted in Egypt after Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2021, the majority of respondents reported that they had no fixed time frame in which they made the majority of their Eid al-Fitr purchases. Compared to other generations, Generation X had a higher share buying most of their Eid al-Fitr purchases in the middle two weeks of Ramadan (17 percent) and in the last weeks of the holy month (17 percent).
