According to a survey conducted in Egypt after Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2021, nearly 40 percent of the respondents reported that they had no fixed time to do their Ramadan purchases. Compared to other generations, Generation X had a higher share reporting that they did most of their shopping for Ramadan between one and two weeks before the month.
