In 2022, a survey among 250 Indian companies revealed that the share of women in the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) roles in India amounted to 35 percent. Despite a decrease from the previous year, this reflected a significant growth from 10 percent in 2017. According to the source, the share of Indian women in the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Managing Director (MD) have grown rapidly in recent years, reaching 55 percent in 2022.
