According to a survey on Egyptian consumer behavior conducted after Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2021, the majority of the respondents researched their Ramadan purchases online. Generation X had a higher share of respondents getting information on their Ramadan purchases using their laptops (38 percent), in-stores (34 percent), and by talking to friends and families (31 percent) compared to younger generations.
