By 2026, e-commerce channels would increasingly contribute to the sales of retail chains in the United Kingdom (UK). Leaving aside pure players such as Amazon and outliers such as Aldi, which would experience no change, e-commerce's share of Sainsbury's retail sales is forecast to increase by almost three percentage points and reach 35.5 percent by 2026. In the same year, e-commerce would account for approximately 18 percent of Tesco's sales.
