U.S. battery storage capacity additions 2017-2024

In 2023, the United States added around seven gigawatts worth of battery storage to its electric capacity, an increase of 2.5 gigawatts in comparison to the previous year. Planned installations should add another 14.3 gigawatts to the country's capacity by the end of 2024.
