Thjorsa, written Þjórsá in Icelandic, is the longest river in iceland with 230 kilometers. It has its source in the glacier Hofsjökull, ending in the Atlantic ocean in Southwest Iceland. Jökulsá á Fjöllum is the country's second longest river, running 206 kilometers, followed by Jökulsá á Brú (also called Jökulsá á Dal or just Jökla).
