In 2019, about 40 percent of small and medium sized companies (SMEs) in France, who had already implemented digital solutions, believed that the recruitment of digitally skilled employees will become much more difficult as a result of the digital transformation. Further 32 percent of SMEs who had not implemented digital business methods believed that certain jobs and tasks will become obsolete due to the digital transformation.
