Small and medium sized companies (SMEs) in France faced certain obstacles during the implementation of digital solutions in 2019. As it seems, shortages in the IT labor market, that is to say, difficulties in recruiting IT specialist was one of the obstacles faced by about 23 percent of SMEs in 2019. In the same time, a combined 28 percent of French SMEs declared that the lack of digital skills from their staff constituted an obstacle for the digitalization of their business.
