Delisted Russian Android and iOS mobile apps 2022, by app store

In January and February 2022, around 1,300 mobile apps initially registered in Russia were delisted from Google Play Store and Apple App Store worldwide. The majority of the removed mobile apps were delisted from the Google Play Store, while approximately 16 apps were removed from the Apple App Store in the examined period. As part of the sanctions for the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Google suspended payments and billing services for the Google Play Store in Russia, while the Apple App Store halted purchases for users in the country.
