Video streaming has proven to be popular among viewers in the UK among people over 65 years, in spite of common assumptions about streaming popularity among older populations. According to a 2021 survey, the most popular show to stream by viewers in this age group was "Line of Duty," with over 50 percent of those surveyed reporting to have streamed this program. "The Crown" and "Peaky Blinders" were the second and third most viewed TV series among this demographic group.
