The Nintendo Direct 2024 event on June 18 was the second-largest Direct event ever, peaking at 2.96 million streaming platform viewers across 570 channels. The company revealed a new Zelda game for Nintendo Switch, titled The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, where the eponymous Princess Zelda stars as the main character for the first time.
