Russia: opinion on military actions in Ukraine 2024, by age group

Among the respondents in Russia, the lowest level of public support toward the actions of Russian military forces in Ukraine was recorded among the population aged 18 to 24 years, at around 67 percent in October 2024. In the age group of 55 years and above, that share stood at 81 percent. Russian forces invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Overall, approximately nine in ten Russians supported the military actions.
