A 2022 research on hotel projects in the emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) revealed that approximately 56 percent of the 118 upcoming hotel projects in the city were already under construction. Meanwhile, five projects, accounting for four percent, were still in the pre-planning phrase. According to the source, approximately half of these 118 planned developments were expected to be finished by the end of 2022.
