During a survey among Hong Kong residents conducted in January 2024, around 26 percent of respondents stated that they were expecting to increase their spending on traveling during the Lunar New Year holidays in 2024 compared to the previous year. Another 24 percent were planning to decrease their expenditure on holiday traveling.
