According to a survey conducted in August 2022 in Japan, the leading reason people refrained from buying a used automobile was not finding the car they were looking for, with 37.5 percent of respondents. Other than that, reasons were quite diverse, the second most stated being that the condition of the cars did not satisfy what they were hoping for, with 17.8 percent of respondents.
