Around 29 percent of respondents from the Middle East and North Africa ranked shopping in order to cook for a gathering as their main motivation to buy during Ramadan. According to projections for Ramadan 2022, the online consumer spending in the Middle East and North Africa was valued at 6.3 billion U.S. dollars.
