Share of imports into Algeria 2021, by type

Industrial equipment was the leading category of products imported into Algeria in the third quarter of 2021. In that period, it accounted for around 25 percent of the country's total imports. Other key imported items were food products, which made up 22 percent of the imports, as well as semi-finished products, which constituted 20 percent of the import trade.
