In April 2024, the inflation rate in Russia reached 7.8 percent relative to the corresponding period of the previous year.

The figures are measured over weekly periods corresponding to the same week of the previous year. From December 26, 2022 to June 3, 2024, the length of the period has been changed due to New Year's holidays in Russia. The methodology was changed in February 2023 to calculate the year-over-year inflation based on average daily increase in prices compared to the corresponding month of the previous year rather than weekly data.
The statistic has been compiled from several sources citing the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
