According to a survey of global consumers conducted in September 2021, 60 percent of Boomers reported not using education apps. Social media apps also saw low usage among Boomers, with three in 10 respondents reporting not using apps in this category. By comparison, 19 percent of Gen Z users reported not engaging with travel and hospitality apps. Since the beginning of the global COVID-19 pandemic, travel apps struggled to retain users and keep their pre-pandemic engagement levels.
